Where It All Began
My journey into the beauty industry started young. I always knew this was my world.
I studied beauty therapy in college and, by just 19 years old, I had opened my very first salon. That’s where everything really began — building a team, growing a business, and learning what it truly takes to succeed in the beauty industry.
But more importantly, it’s where I discovered my drive.
Finding My True Path
As my career evolved, I moved into permanent cosmetics and skin aesthetics — a shift that gave me something incredibly important: balance.
Being able to build a career and raise my family was everything.
But deep down, I knew there was more.
That feeling… the one that says you’re meant for something bigger — I couldn’t ignore it.
Taking the Leap (Even When It Felt Impossible)
I remember thinking:
“How can a small-town girl from Doncaster build a makeup brand?”
And honestly? That doubt nearly stopped me.
But then I made a decision that changed everything:
👉 Just go for it.
During lockdown, when the world slowed down, I sped up.
I planned, researched, learned from other founders, and surrounded myself with people who had already built successful brands.
It wasn’t easy.
It took 18 months of relentless work, focus, and resilience.
But I didn’t stop.
The Birth of Bomonde
Two years ago, I launched Bomonde.
Not just another makeup brand — but something different.

It’s busy.

But it’s worth it.
