I Would Like to Take Credit of My Wooden Pots but I Can’t

Now, if you've been following Bomonde's journey from when I first launched, you will know this, but I wanna share this again because I had this conversation with a university student that is wanting to do a project around Bomonde and eco-friendly living and lifestyle and makeup and everything else.

We had this conversation, so I wanted to share it with you guys again.

A lot of you know, this was a lockdown project for me.

The biggest advantage that Bomonde has is the refillable wooden pots, that is something that I am so proud of.

Now, that idea wasn't my idea.

That was my seven year old daughter's idea, and I remember that conversation as if it was yesterday.

I was talking about what I was working on.

It was lockdown, we was juggling homeschooling, andv everything else that came with it.I

And I said to my daughter that I'm manufacturing a makeup range, I'm working on developing a makeup range, and I was showing her all the other companies' pots that I had, the ideas that I had.

She was very keen on the environment at that time and was watching a lot of David Attenborough documentaries, a lot of things about plastic in our oceans and everything it was doing to the planet..

And she turned around to me and said, So you 're gonna use plastic pots then, mummy?

I went, Well, yeah….

And then she said to me, she went, why use plastic because plastic's not good for the environment, is it? And I went, Oh.

I then went online and I'm like, Shit, she's right, and then started researching my wooden containers.

I wanted to share that story with you because the best part about Bomonde for me, obviously the ingredients, the products and everything are phenomenal.

But all of that, I had that covered because I am in the industry and I have been in the industry for over 20 years.

But the one big golden nugget, the unique selling point for Bomonde, came from my seven year old daughter.

So there you go, you have a little bit more knowledge about where Bomonde came from and the ideas behind the wooden parts and the refillable aspect.

Have a beautiful day.

Bye for now.
